When is the best time to get a cake smash session done?

Cake Smash sessions can happen anytime between 9 to 24 months of age.

Where would the session take place?

All the sessions take place at our comfortable & hygienic studio in Shakti nagar, Jammu. Outdoor sessions take place at our garden.

What time do these shoots typically take place?

We will ideally plan the shoot during your little one’s routine playtime, preferably right after a nap for best results.

What does one set-up include?

A setup would include one background and a few props on the set. In one setup, a child is photographed in one outfit.

Will you arrange the cake?

For safety and hygiene reasons, we ask the parents to arrange for the cake (so as to know where it comes from, how safe it is, sugar/sugarless cake etc). We can connect you with our regular bakers to place the order.

Do you have props for Baby shoots?

Yes, we do have a wide variety of props at our studio. Saying that you’re welcome to bring your baby’s personalised props to the shoot if it enhances the overall setup/theme. Pre-owned props at the studio will be used to create the set-up at no extra cost. Elaborate Set-ups are purchase-able at Rs.8000 upwards. New props/setups/outfits needed to be procured for a specific shoot will be charged as per actuals. 

How do we plan the set-ups?

We will plan the set-up(s) on a pre-scheduled call to discuss the themes, colours, outfits and more.

Do you provide outfits?

Unfortunately No. You have to bring your own outfits for the session.

What should I bring for the baby to wear during the session?

During the pre-session consultation, we will try and understand the kind of setups that you like and we will guide you accordingly. Avoid printed clothing as much as possible to avoid taking the attention away from your expressions.

What is the pre-session phone consultation?

After booking and paying for your session, a pre-session phone consultation is scheduled where we talk about all the aspects of your maternity photoshoot.

When will you deliver the photos?

Your original unprocessed session photos are delivered to you by an email within 1-2 days of your session. From these original photos, you can shortlist the photos that you would like us to retouch and finalise.

Once you inform us of your shortlisted photos that you would like us to retouch, we will take about 4 weeks from the date of your shortlisting to process your photos. Your final retouched, high resolution photos are delivered to you by email.

What is the difference between unprocessed and edited/ retouched photos?

Unprocessed Photos: The unprocessed digital photos shared online with you for the purpose of selecting your final photos are low-resolution jpg files (1000 pixels on long side). These are downloadable and are only for selecting final photos.

Edited/Retouched Photos: These are detailed hand edits that involve working for hours in photoshop. Editing/retouching happens on top of colour-corrected photos.

Do you offer any print products?

Yes, we offer high quality coffee table albums & wall frames.
